Our Process - 4 Simple Steps

Consultation

We begin by having an in-depth consultation with our clients to understand their specific needs, requirements and aesthetic preferences. This allows us to develop an accurate picture of what you need from us and gain insight into your vision and desired outcome. Our team can work from even a simple sketch or verbal brief.

Design

Once your concept is fully understood, we produce a 3D model which is shared for discussion, comment and any changes incorporated. When complete, a structural design check is undertaken. A full set of yard and site general arrangement drawings are produced, and again issued for discussion. Once all is agreed, fabrication drawings are undertaken.

Fabrication & Testing

Our experienced welding and machining team uses the latest technologies to create the desired project requirement. We provide the above steel fabrication processes in our Wickford factory, but we also provide on-site steel fabrication and mobile welding. All of our projects are rigorously quality checked before being transported and installed onsite as required.

Transportation & Installation

Throughout the process, we ensure that all safety standards are met and exceeded, with all of our experienced site fitters and fabricators certified to the highest level. We also complete non-destructive testing (NDT) where required. NDT techniques such as ultrasonic testing and magnetic particle inspection are used to detect any flaws or defects in the steelwork.
