Structural & Architectural Steelwork
1 Triton Square is British Land’s 34,000m2 net zero carbon redevelopment at its Regent’s Place Campus, located at the intersection of Camden, Fitzrovia and London’s Knowledge Quarter.

Assesmont have been appointed by the client Whole Building Services to carry out works for different areas of steel through 8 floors and the roof.
This includes slab extensions, infills, strobic fan support steel work, planter steel work for the atrium, fire protected steel infill slabs and trimming steelwork for new services openings. As with many projects, we supplied and installed (then removed!) temporary steelwork, in this case in the level 1 atrium.
We fabricated and installed a new gas bottle storage enclosure; access metal stairs with galvanised steel grating and associated balustrading, kick plates and structural support with removable guarding. We also fabricated and installed external fencing and doors.
Installation of Atrium Viewing Pods Steelwork
As part of our large project to carry out a variety of steel works throughout 8 floors and the roof, we have finished assembling and installed on-site 5 viewing platforms internally on different floors of the new atrium at Triton Square. As well as the assembly, the steel is also being painted with red oxide and intumescent paint where specified by the contractor.
