The site on Goulston Street sits between a hotel and a residential block, making access and logistics particularly difficult. Working closely with the principal contractor, we developed a management plan to ensure we could complete the programme whilst minimising any disruption.
The building stands six storeys tall, featuring piled foundations and a concrete frame complete with concrete floors and roof slabs. The external envelope is made of lightweight steel and is brick-faced. Assesmont were contracted to fabricate and install balcony balustrades, aluminium louvres, roof handrails, aluminium cladding, an acoustic screen and riser grilles.
