LED Digital Signage Steel Support Frame

Assesmont Group Ltd delivered a custom-made steel support frame for a new double‑sided digital LED display at Hainault Business Park in Ilford. The client required a strong, accurate and durable structure that could carry the full weight of the display and allow a smooth installation process. Our team built a solution that meets those needs and supports long‑term performance.

The display uses two LED faces with a combined weight of more than 260 kg. To handle this load, we fabricated a heavy‑duty steel assembly built around two large RHS posts, a stiffened baseplate and a powder‑coated SHS frame. Each part was cut, welded and finished to match the fixing pattern of the LED cabinets. The frame includes multiple Ø12 fixing points and M10 locating positions, which allow the display to sit correctly without adjustment on site.

We added practical installation features to make the process efficient. A temporary support shelf helped position the cabinets during lifting. The frame also includes clearance for the rear control equipment, which extends slightly beyond the back of the display. These details kept the installation tidy and reduced time on site.

Our team produced the fabrication drawings, carried out the structural detailing and completed the installation in one coordinated visit. All steelwork received a durable powder‑coated finish suitable for external use. Once installed, the frame provided a stable and accurately aligned base for the digital signage.
