Structural Infill Installation for Ground‑Floor Lightwell

Assesmont specialises in delivering precision‑engineered steel solutions, including the installation of new structural infill sections for complex refurbishment projects.

For this scheme, our team supplied, fabricated and installed a complete steel support system designed to carry a new composite floor slab within an existing lightwell. Works included welding 150×12 mm steel plates to existing beams, installing 200×100×12 and 100×100×10 RSA sections and securing all components with high‑grade fixings and Hilti resin anchors.

We also provided and installed 10 m² of MetFloor 60 decking, ensuring full integration with the surrounding structure and readiness for concrete works by others. Every stage – from fabrication drawings to on‑site installation – was completed with accuracy, efficiency and strict adherence to industry standards.
