Assesmont was selected by Wolff Onsite to design and manufacture the UK’s first offset access cage – the Big Red Offset Access Cage. This purpose-engineered solution delivers safe and efficient access for personnel and materials on complex construction sites, particularly where traditional cages cannot be used due to offset requirements.
Following successful delivery of the original units, we have proactively carried out additional comprehensive weld testing and load testing on the cages. These extra tests go beyond standard requirements, providing further assurance of structural integrity, weld quality, and long-term safety performance under real site conditions.
