Primary Structural Steelwork Fabrication & Installation
Scope of Works: Alwyne Avenue, Shenfield
- Fabrication and supply of all primary structural steelwork in accordance with engineer’s drawings.
- Manufacture of UC and UB beams, PFC sections and steel columns complete with welded capping plates, baseplates, stiffeners and end plates.
- Drilling of timber‑fixing holes, resin‑anchor holes and connection bolt holes to specified centres.
- Application of red‑oxide primer finish to steel members.
- Delivery and installation of main structural elements including columns and primary beams.
- Alignment and fixing of steelwork to padstones, foundations and existing structure to ensure full structural continuity.
- Supply of secondary PFC beams and stub columns for installation by the client’s build team.
- Coordination with site contractors to ensure safe lifting, positioning and integration of all steel components.
