Structural Steelworks for Entrance Lobby and Mezzanine Support

Proud to have completed our structural upgrade at Topgolf Chigwell!

We were commissioned to deliver a comprehensive structural upgrade and refurbishment programme, with a key focus on the steel lighting columns, entrance arcade canopy, lobby area, and associated ancillary steel elements. Originally we supplied and installed tubular steel lighting posts that illuminate the driving bays complete with all associated steel components – including two red-primer flitch plates – delivered to site ready for immediate installation.

Running in parallel, we fully replaced and extended the entrance arcade steelwork. This involved the detailed fabrication and installation of a complete new steel frame for the arcade canopy, incorporating columns, horizontal beams, base plates, splice plates, corner cap plates, and all bolted connections. Additional steelwork was also provided to seamlessly integrate the entrance area into the new arcade. The entire arcade steel package was supplied and installed shot-blasted and red-oxide primed, ensuring both structural integrity and a high-quality finish.
