Cast Iron Crypt Gate Refurbishment

As part of general refurbishment to this private chapel, we were asked to improve the cast iron gate as the security of this crypt and its ‘inhabitants’ had been seriously compromised.

• Installed new robust lock mechanism to existing housing
• Replace new keep/housing for the new lock
• Freed up, eased and adjusted the gate plus greased for smoother, creak-free operation
• Rubbed down, thoroughly cleaned and coated with rust inhibiting paint
• Ensure gate is in full working order & lockable
• Works were carried out in situ.
