Removal of Temporary Steels
The primary purpose of temporary works is to ensure the stability and safety of a construction site, workers, and the general public during the building process.
Temporary works are engineered solutions employed to support the delivery of complex construction projects and developments. As with many projects, we supplied and installed temporary steelwork, in this case in the level 1 atrium at Triton Square, which we have now removed.
Temporary steelworks include solutions to:
• support or protect existing structures or permanent works;
• support plant or equipment;
• support or protect the vertical sides or side slopes of an excavation;
• provide access to a development.
Assesmont have been appointed by the client Whole Building Services to carry out works for different areas of steel through 8 floors of 1 Triton Square and the roof. This includes slab extensions, infills, strobic fan support steel work, planter steel work for the atrium, fire protected steel infill slabs and trimming steelwork for new services openings.
