155 Bishopsgate Refurbishment Project
Rooftop Planter Steelwork
City of London Sustainability Project
The refurbishment works at 155 Bishopsgate, London, are transforming the 1980s office building into a modern, sustainable workspace while retaining much of its original structure.
The latest stage in our structural and architectural steelwork modifications to this iconic building is the design, fabrication and installation of rooftop planters steelwork. These have been designed to increase the aesthetics and sustainability contributions of the building on Liverpool Street. They will serve to shield from view the pyramid-like glass rooftop. The planters are walled with aluminium panels (produced by others) and the steel mesh fencing will encourage plants’ growth.
