Our team expertly crafted a range of bespoke steel and aluminium solutions for a complex London rooftop project. We designed and installed intricate roof metalworks, including balustrades, tailored plant screen modifications, and a robust duct and walkthrough enclosure, adapting seamlessly to duct size changes.
We created striking metal screen panels, access gates, and a sleek aluminium pergola, alongside a steel-wired trellis system and custom planters to enhance the aesthetic and functionality of the space. To address structural needs, we extended a portal frame at the stair exit and resolved roof fixing embedment challenges. Our team also modified planter stands and troughs, installed door threshold steel, and adjusted duct enclosures and doorway plates for precision fit. To ensure safety and compliance, we added protective netting.
Duct Diversion and Feature Portal Entrance:
A large duct was rerouted to create a distinctive portal entrance, serving as a focal point for the terrace and improving access.
Terrace Construction:
The terrace was designed to offer stunning views, including a notable perspective of The Shard. It incorporated planters with splashes of colour to align with the building’s playful harlequin chequered façade.
Structural and Coordination Work:
Considerable coordination ensured seamless integration of the terrace with the building’s existing structure, maintaining functionality while adding outdoor amenity space.
