Superstructure Steel Fabrication & Installation

Assesmont fabricated Europe’s tallest advertising structure, offering unbeatable visibility and exposure. This project required our BS 1090 Execution Class 3 accreditation.

It’s situated on the country’s busiest road, the M8, which connects Scotland’s two biggest cities: Glasgow and Edinburgh. Following months of design & coordination meetings, Assesmont fabricated this superstructure in our factory in Essex.

We aided the first stage base installation team through the installation and the setting out of the base structure due to the complexity involved in getting this section precisely level and square. Assesmont than flew up to Glasgow to assist and supervise the 2nd and 3rd stages of installation as required, because of the Execution Class 3 tolerances involved.
