Rooftop MEP Steelwork & GRP Flooring Installation
1 Triton Square is British Land’s 34,000m2 net zero carbon redevelopment at its Regent’s Place Campus, located at the intersection of Camden, Fitzrovia and London’s Knowledge Quarter.
We have fabricated and installed rooftop galvanised steelwork, including universal beams and welded connection plates to support the building’s new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. We are now installing GRP flooring to the MEP steelwork, and fabricating and installing steel kee clamps and railing.
The yellow GRP flooring serves as a lightweight, non-slip surface for workers to walk on during maintenance or installation. Its textured design prevents slipping, which is critical on a rooftop where safety is a priority. Together, the steel and GRP flooring create a robust, safe, and low-maintenance platform, likely for a rooftop utility area (e.g., housing mechanical systems). The steel ensures structural strength, while the GRP provides a practical, safe walking surface.
