We designed, fabricated and installed this custom-designed dark grey powder coated automated steel gate and fencing. We also installed brick pier flashings to protect the walls from water damage.

Gate Automation
Our fitters installed the swing gate automation using the BBFT GUINO BT A50 Hydraulic Double Kit. The existing rising bollard was connected to the new automation system, with photocells mounted both sides of the gate. If an obstacle is detected whilst gates are in operation, then they will automatically stop, then open, then wait 30 seconds before attempting to close again.
We had a safety loop installed to ensure the bollard doesn’t rise up on any cars. A Vehicle Loop Detector works by placing a coil of ground loop cable under your driveway. This then connects to the detector and picks up a change in frequency when metal passes directly over the coil of ground loop cable. This in turn triggers the gates to open, or can also be used as a safety feature to prevent the gates closing. Price of gate and bollard automation such as described here is £2,900.*
